I would recommend you purchase the seeds and put them in a pod. Everything grows great in the aero garden. I have never had a problem growing anything. Hope this helps you out. **Q: Can strawberries be grown in this** A: Yes! I’ve grown several different plants from seed with these. You’ll likely need to transplant the strawberries once they’re big enough. **Q: after the seeds have sprouted and are about 5 in. high can I plant them in a container with planting soil?** A: Yes! I moved my lavender to a pot with soil after it gained about 5 inches.
