It's super light and even smaller in its little pouch than I expected from looking at the picture, yet it's sturdy and gets the job done with ease. I actually prefer the motion of sawing with the two handles to using a traditional saw which usually requires something to prop the wood up on. This can be used in more tight and awkward situations since you just need to be able to get one of the handles around the branch/trunk and then you can pull in any direction that's convenient. Where the folding camp saw was over a foot long and awkward to carry without a pack, this literally fits easily in a pocket so I can go scrounging for wood with my hands and back free.
