If you're into bananas, I'm sure I don't need to tell you how important it is to avoid having yours squashed.  I mean, if you didn't think it was important, you wouldn't be here in the first place, amirite?  This is a safe space. Let's talk.The Banana Guard is a simple, but necessary tool for anyone who enjoys a delicious ripe banana. It does exactly what you need it to do, whether you're hiking, commuting, or making cheap jokes to your coworkers.  I have owned one of these for many years, and have always enjoyed delicious bananas, without ever worrying that I was going to find a handful of mushy disappointment at the bottom of my backpack. Is it cartoonishly phallic? Yup.  However, without fail, once the laughs and eye rolling subside, it's inevitable that someone in the group will ask where you got it.
