Might work for you. Read on.

I got the large as my hips are greater than 40 inches wide and I tend to wear the belt lower. I am wondering if I could have gone smaller.... and if my arms would brush the tops of the bottles like they already do when running. I like this belt for inline skating to hold the water bottles, but when running a 5k to hold my phone and keys (didn't necessarily need the water) it started to slip down a bunch and I spent part of the race trying to cinch the belt. I like that the belt itself has a nice large study buckle and it's a wide elastic band. As others have mentioned, I wish the zipper wasn't right in the middle of the pouch! Extremely poor design. UGH! Wish it opened at the top. There are two smaller separated compartments inside that hold flat items like ID, but it's not made for holding keys on a key ring (read: not great for automatic key fobs of medium to large size as they are bulky.) Single keys would work best. There are rubberized nubby things on the opposite sizes of the water bottle holders to provide grip against your clothing. This works fairly well. The straps that go over the bottles are sort of unnecessary since the water bottle pockets are quite tight, but it's also nice to have the peace of mind even if they aren't very useful. The tags on them are reflective and theoretically that would help with night time visibility, so there is that. All in all, this is a nice belt but for the money I would think they could do something about the awful zipper placement. I understand that it might make the pouch smaller if it were at the very top, but even just moving the zipper up closer to the top would be a huge improvement. The way it is now, you have to take the entire belt off if you've got anything in there that could fall out while opening it. I keep my iPhone 5 in a case that holds 3 credit cards/IDs, so it's larger than the slim phone, and the whole thing fits in the pounch fine with room for keys to spare. The pouch is stretchy, so I can even jam that bulky key fob in there when absolutely necessary. My bottles also do not leak, for the most part. They don't have a push/pull mechanism at the top, but you have to squeeze them to get the water into your mouth and make sure you hold them almost upside down. And it comes out in a very rough stream so I learned after the first time not to squeeze towards the back of my throat, otherwise it hurts! I squeeze towards the inside of my cheek and all is well. If you're desperate for a drink of water, you'll easily get past this slight annoyance.So. I am glad I have this belt because it serves a purpose, mostly for fitness inline skating. Read about the cons I've listed and try to decide if it might work for your purposes as well!

    Awesome Belt!

*by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2014*

Started Galloway 1/2 marathon training and needed hydration on the go. This belt fits the bill. Excellent quality!! I suggest getting the 16 oz vs 10 oz. Always better to have too much water than not enough. And you can just take one bottle vs 2 on short runs. I do have to get use to running with a belt, never have. I use a HB Tune hand held phone case vs an arm band which is awesome because I can access my phone anytime I need to vs on your arm. I do have to deal with headphone wire getting caught on the water bottle when swinging my arms during my run. When I'm not listening to music during my run, I like to carry my Iphone 5 in front pouch for 2 major reasons: Safety and protection.1. If it rains, my phone is protected. When running my long training runs, if it rains and I'm far from home, I have peace of mind knowing I can put my phone in the waterproof pouch. You're not going to get this type of protection when utilizing a hand held or arm band case for your phone, they both having openings for the head phones.2. No one knows I have my phone when it's inside the pouch so I don't have to worry about getting "run jacked" for my Iphone. I have the Garmin FR 220 watch and I use that for pace, distance, walk/run intervals during my training, so I carry my Iphone 5 along for safety. A women running alone it's always a good idea. .Another cool feature. The Garmin FR 220 watch has Live Tracking feature in which family/friends can see "live" where I am and see your progress during your runs. But, in order for this to work you must have your phone with you on your run. I can stick it in my pouch cause I don't need to access it, just need it with me. Love the fact that no one knows I even have it with me.

Good enough, but the pouch should be bigger

*by R***W on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2014*

So far I've only used this on one run, but it's almost perfect. I'm training for my first half marathon, so I needed water bottles and a place to stash phone, keys, fuel, ID etc. My iPhone 4s actually fits in the pouch even with a bulky case, but it's a tight fit to get fuel in there too. So far no major issues, but if the pouch could just be a tiny bit bigger, this would be perfect. It looks like there's a separate phone pouch add-on, which would help, but it's almost $20 all by itself, and I already paid $40 for the belt. It's definitely an upgrade I'm considering, but a pouch large enough for phone and fuel should be standard on any running belt. The bottles are easy enough to get out of the holsters one-handed, but stay put while running. I haven't had any leaking issues as some other users have noted, even when I dropped the belt on my floor after my 8-miler and left it there for 20 minutes while I stretched. The belt also stayed put--no bounce, no riding up. I pretty much forget I had it on until I reached down for a drink.A larger pouch would definitely make this a 5-star item.
