It's not as long as ght as a feather but it's not too heavy either. It's tall enough so that my hips are more or less level with my knees (I'm 5foot 7inches) and it is a akes my weight and I'm not skinny!!I use mine when I'm waiting for a bus, need to rest and even in the shop whilst queueing!One of the best things I've bought. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Broke first time I used it. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2020* I bought two. One broke the first time we used it - all the links came out and my 81 year old husband fell. He was not hurt but someone else might have been. The other is fine but I haven't dared to use it since. She’s old-ish (70) and gets around pretty well but suffers with back pain when walking or standing for a long while. She also has some trouble getting up from the floor if she’s been sitting on the grass etc. as she’s had bilateral knee replacements.She saw this and kept dreaming about the convenience it would provide, so I got her one and it’s fabulous. It’s going to be great for day trips, it’s light, compact and even has a wee strap so you can sling it over your shoulder.I love my Mom and she loves this stool.
