Perfect fit.I appreciate the mesh cover, when I hike here in Texas (Hike and Bike trails), my feet are not baking like other walking / running shoes.I have put on many miles with these shoes. It distributes my weight evenly and the heel is comfortable.Amazed with how light these shoes are, but that is expected with the mesh covering... They are very light weight and held up well. They look good and they don't make his knees hurt like some athletic shoes have. I ordered these on Amazon and ordered 4e (extra wide) by mistake.. They fit the same as the medium width. In fact ,I put the bottoms(1 old,1 new) together and the wide was more narrow than the old medium. I know the old shoe must have spread out some but the new one must run very narrow. There is no way he could wear a wide shoe much less an extra wide . He is keeping them because they fit fine no matter what size they say they are. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoes at at reasonable price *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2013* This is my 2nd pair of these and I think they're great, Very lightweight, flexible and comfortable. I wear custom orthotics and there is plenty of room in the 610's for these when the standard insoles are removed. I even put in foam insoles and this actually gives the 610s even more padding which is nice. I also think they look sharp! I had the old 810s before these and I liked those a lot also, but I did not care for the "new version" of these that NB brought out after they discontinued them. The 610's are the best fit for anyone who liked the old 810s. They fit pretty much the same but they are lighter and cooler and better all-around I think. My only complaint is that they charge different prices for the different colors. I can't imagine why.
