As long as you take it apart and wash it right away it cleans really easy. I’ve used this style in more expensive brands and this little thing is quite a bit better because of its simple design. It is small though and is only best for small fresh batches of juice. The collection cup only holds 2.5 cups of liquid so I don’t use it at all. I put a 4 cup glass measuring cup to collect the juice and it works better. It also lets more pulp thru than my other juicers. I personally like that but others may not. Also if the pulp bin starts to get backed up it can let small seeds or seed sized pieces of produce pass thru into your drink. I’ve used this juicer at least twice a day for almost a month and that only happened one time with the little pieces so not a huge problem. It’s small size also makes it very easy to store when not in use. I wish it came with a second cutting blade as it is showing signs of wear and I wonder how long till it starts to dull? I was easily able to find many delicious recipes online. **Q: How do you take out the sieve? It shows a photo but it does not pull out and feels like it might break if I pull too hard?** A: Yes. The instructions aren't very good. The easiest way I finally found was not to try to get the sieve out but to lift out the black piece that the sieve sits in. And the easiest way I found to do that was to lift the black piece straight up by holding it under the juice spout and under the lip (above the waste container) on the other side of the sieve. Lift out both the big black assembly and the sieve at once, then the sieve is free to be removed. **Q: Will this juice carrots?** A: oh yes **Q: Is there a step by step video because I can't get the black part out that holds the sleeve?** A: Not sure what your problem is. Check Youtube. They have a short video for the item.
