Size, ease of use, durability, all far surpass other fancier french presses. Tried stainless steel once, it was 40$ and the coffee tasted metallic. Doesn’t take much longer than drip coffee makers, just have to boil water, dump it in, stir, i personally wait 4 min, press, and its the best coffee i’ve ever had in my life. It’s easy enough to use. However there is a rubber ring that goes around one of the filter/press pieces, and it’s very difficult to get on. I have chosen to just leave it off.
