**Q: is this product for inswing or outswing doors?**
A: I use it on out swing storm door.  I suppose it could be used on a in swing also

**Q: The one answer so farsays this is for aluminum doors only. Looking at the pic seems like it could be used on wood door also. Does anyone else know?**
A: If the thickness of your wood door is within the limits stated for the latch, and if all the through-holes are the correct sizes and in the right places , then I don't see any reason you couldn't use it on a wooden door.  I installed it in the spring, and it has seemed like a good quality latch so far.  Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a wooden screen door.
