But, I think it works... It tastes fruity at first sip, then you get the tartness of the red berries before the mint comes through; it’s a good natural flavour of real mint leaves that's not overbearing as it can often be with mint teas. As the tea starts to cool, it loses some of its tartness and all the flavours seem to come together for a harmonious fruity mint fusion. Lovely. Really glad I gave this one a try. I don’t brew for long (about a minute) with a little bit of sweetener (any of your choice, I use natural stevia) to bring out the flavours. I find fruit teas are so much nicer when hibiscus is also mixed in it; hibiscus makes a big difference in flavour compared to just plain berries (which can get a bit bitter or sour if brewed too long). A few bags brewed then diluted with water, add a few dashes of lemon juice (or lime juice) and put in the fridge until cold.
