This one of my goto resources for deepening lessons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent! *by C***R on June 11, 2019* This book is the 2nd volume of "Inquiry-Based Lessons in World History" and maybe even better than the first volume. The lesson plans have everything you need for “stand alone” lessons: historical information for the teacher; a lesson hook, key questions to provoke thought, primary sources and links to all the resources needed, and creative instructional ideas. Or, teachers can pick and choose from the activities and primary sources to add to existing units and lessons. The content really is world-history focused with lessons on government, economic and political revolutions, industrialism, and human rights – all the topics addressed in typical social studies courses. The Post 9/11 lessons are especially helpful since typical textbooks never get that far into the present era. And, the lessons are aligned to Common Core literacy standards.
