They are about a quarter of an inch square. They are brightly colored and have a good magnet but they are only meant to hold very light objects. The "Large" descriptor is my biggest problem with this item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not large *by C***E on January 15, 2019* I should have read the reviews first because I agree, these are definitely NOT large. I bought them with the intention of giving my son some colorful fridge magnets to play with and to hang his artwork from. But seeing as he is only 18 months and everything still goes into his mouth (also, these look a lot like candy) I will not be keeping these within his reach. I do still like them as fridge magnets, especially if you do not have kids or dogs that could eat them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but still work well *by E***N on July 16, 2018* They are much smaller than what I thought they would be. The description says large so I’m not sure how true or not true that is, but they still hold very well.
