Review: Perfect! - Perfect! Great price, great for htv, great yellow color, great size, and great quality (for what I paid). I was actually banking on reviews that say they shrink. I needed two xl size and one medium, but the best for my money was the pack of three xl size. So I pre-washed one and dried it. It was still a little damp and had not shrunk. So I dried it way longer and hotter than necessary and it shrunk to a large. Good enough for the smaller person I needed it for. (Haha, see photos) To keep the other shirts at xl I just washed and hung dry or didn’t let completely dry in the dryer. That’s the key to the shrinkage, especially when I needed it both ways. (Oh and washing in hot vs cold water.) Our shirts were made as a construction joke when we help my general contractor husband who’s helping my sister remodel her home, and heat transfer vinyl was fantastic on them. The yellow was very nice. It does change a tiny bit after a wash and dry, but can’t really tell. This is a good thickness too. I don’t like thick and hot and these are not. It’s not also the kind so thin and cheap that after a wash the neck line is wrinkled and won’t lay flat. It fits true to size based on the common unisex cotton t-shirt sizing. It didn’t feel like a weird fit to me, and I have fat arms and broad shoulders. Overall, was perfect for what we wanted. It was fun and we got lots of comments.

**Q: What are the advantages of "heavy" cotton? ...holds more perspiration, warmth, longer life?**
A: Going braless, allergies, & stain removal! "Heavy" Cotton means 100% or it's really not Heavy.. Many people must wear only 100%, like me; I get the thickest possible. 
Thin Tshirts: some you can see through em; start falling apart the 1st wash; I'm not going braless under those. 
Stains come out of 100% cotton the best of all fabrics. The Heavy handles stain removers; why worry if it'll put a hole in your shirt. (Hydrogen Peroxide soaks/scrub for blood.) A stain on polyester, won't come out period. Even 50/50 blend; you can try, but it's usually worthless. Food stains can have an oil base (meat, butter, ice cream, Ranch Dressing). I just threw 2 new Tshirts away to a mechanic friend! (Medium thick.) One had food oil that didn't come out, after all the stain removal tricks, & machine washed. I hung it to dry next to another & the stain spread to it - fabric transfer! Can't keep that.

**Q: are they long ?**
A: Not super-long, size M after couple of washes from neck to bottom is 26.5 in long.

Perfect! Great price, great for htv, great yellow color, great size, and great quality (for what I paid). I was actually banking on reviews that say they shrink. These Gildan T-shirts have that classic heavy-duty feel to them while still being breathable and comfortable to wear. The material feels soft to the touch, and they strike a really good balance between durability and comfort, which honestly is why I keep coming back to them. They fit perfect and true to size! For me personally, I mainly use these as undershirts underneath hoodies and heavier layers rather than as my everyday standalone T-shirt. They work perfectly for that because they’re comfortable without feeling overly thin or flimsy. That being said, they’re definitely versatile enough to wear casually on their own if you want to. What I appreciate most is just the overall comfort and reliability of them. These are the kind of shirts you can throw into heavy laundry rotation and not constantly worry about them falling apart after a few washes. They really do hold up well in the washer and dryer over time. I happened to get these during a really good Black Friday sale, which made the value even better, but honestly, I would still recommend them at normal retail pricing because the quality is genuinely there. These are just dependable, comfortable shirts that do exactly what they’re supposed to do.
