Since I bought it, I can only charge one phone, and maybe 40% of charge to a second phone. I will not RECOMMEND this item because it is not as advertised. **Q: What’s the true capacity?** A: I'm sorry I never took it apart to find that out. I know one solar one I bought some folks did and I knew though they said it was 80,000mAh it was clearly not. I haven't had this one long enough to know and Yes I bought both suspecting they are not true to what they are listed as being. This one 30,000. My guestamate would be 10,000 to 12,000. It is very light weight maybe the lightest of all my power banks. I have a lot I think by most peoples standards. I have 5000 to 30,000 BRICKS. Everyone has it's use so even though I have the real deal 20,000's and 30,000's two different Rosmoss 30's in fact bought about same time as this one I don't care to hike with those. And unless I carry one of my two solar chargers along that only charge no power bank to them I can't charge on the hike or kayak trip either. SO it's handy to prop these up in the sun now and again but mostly recharge at home via AC wall chargers. I have no intention to open this power bank btw and never opened my other one either. But so far I like this one just knew for the price and what I was getting even sight unseen what to expect and no surprises and happy with it. I would buy this very one again if I loss the one I have. **Q: Is the solar panel monocrystalline?** A: I’ve got no idea what that is. I do know that if your life depended on it, your future will be bleak. Only in destitute times would you ever try to charge the cell with the built in solar cell. Even in the most ideal condition, full and direct sun for a week; not a couple of days would it ever generate enough power to charge a cell phone. I bought several different units; two different brands, charged them fully and tested them. They were charged with AC power and discharged to a point of “no light” twice; two cycles. The worked perfectly. On the third cycle, they were placed outside with full exposure to the sun, temp 60*-68*. Each day they were checked for progress. At the end of five days, two of the units had enough charge to show one test light when checked. The third unit didn’t eliminate until the seventh day. At the end of a full week, all of the units never showed more than one light when checked. The AC charger is the only way to affectively charge these units. Outside of the solar element, they’re great. Don’t rely on the solar portion to help restore power to the units. I’ll keep them because they store energy as described and that is what I wanted. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks can be deceiving *by N*** on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2020* At first this item didn’t feel hefty enough for boasting 30000 mAh and the battery life is not as I was expecting. I can charge my phone only twice before needing recharging. In other battery packs I seen in use wher the phone can be recharged up to four times. I have 30,000mAh Rosmoss power bank BRICKS and I believe they are 30,000's. Also Have three other 20,000's. And those are heavier as is my other solar chargeable 10,000 mAh bank. So without opening it to look inside a lot of these solar ones state they are a lot more powerful than I think they really are. But having said that I also thought that when buying. Quality wise it appears fine. And it seems to be holding it's own on a test I ran with it to run it down after charged fullly. It however did not appear to be a 30,000 maybe 15,000 though. I liked the first one I had and though it states it is 10,000 it may be more like 8,000. But I use 2 to 3 solar chargers when camping. I have a 25Watt small fold up portable, an Allspower 60W and a 18W I am gifting but checked out. So it's nice to have a power bank that can on it's own re-charge as long as you have good sunlight that is. They do not charge well through most windows car or home. And you have to sometimes keep moving them to avoid shade and light movement throughout the day. Otherwise you do that with any of the other chargers. None of my solar chargers however have a battery bank in them. But I also have enough battery banks that is not a problem and I also have a home made 100 watt solar book that along with the 60 watt Allspower charges my Goal Zero 1400 lithium solar battery system to 100% most sunny days without problems. That too has two USB ports. The Allspower only has one port but the little 25 watt has two. I have a special plug in USB's including doubles for the Goal Zero's 12V port. That allows me to double USB ports which is helpful. For all the lights, fans, DVD Player, phones, computer, etc. stuff...with USB/LED systems I can always use another port. Now of course add two and if the price goes down again four of these little green heaters. Oh I tent camp so that has a lot to do with all my little light and fan run by power bank set ups. I like one light set to yellow to prevent insect build up left on the picnic table over night. I use a puzzle lampshade around it to diffuse the light and it casts soft light towards tent that doesn't bother sleeping too but would project anyone or any critter that gets between the light and the tent which when you are in your 70's and a lady alone is nice to have. So lots of things to use these power banks for other than just charging a phone that won't work where I camp anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I would recommend this to everyone! *by D***H on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2020* So happy with this product!
