Customer Service contacted me and offered a full refund or a free replacement. I elected the free replacement and received it immediately After installation the chipmunks have "left the building". I suppose the original set of Mole Repellents were not working properly. I cannot say enough good about this organization, they may be small but others could copy their customer relations and service. I'd recommend them to one and all.

I considered getting three but I went with exterminator guarantee for about twice the price and be done with it. Moles are unbelievably persistent.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do i need to change the location of the unit or can I place it and forget it?**
A: You install the device and device drives away rodents in the zone of its action. You do not need to move the device, otherwise rodents may return. 
If the device was installed on the sun it means that it works and charges at the same time. But if the device was installed in the shade, you need to charge it on the sun from time to time.

**Q: Will they work on groundhogs?**
A: No it does not. I returned mine after attempting to use for groundhogs.. did not work.

**Q: How many feet can I hear the noise? Is it a buzzing sound?**
A: The device makes a beeping tone about every 30 seconds. 
I can't answer the distance question. I can't hear it in the house with the doors and windows closed.
I can hear it with the door or window open.
The device is 5 feet from the window and 10 feet from the door.
I don't know how far away I would have to move it in order to not hear it.

**Q: How long does the solar charge last?**
A: I have had them out for over a year and hear them going off day and night so while I can't give a specific answer on how long a charge lasts I can say through all seasons and lengths of day/night they have kept working.

The NIKAND Solar Mole Repellent items are solar-powered and charge up as expected. I previously reviewed this item and gave it a less than stellar review because the chipmunks continued to carry on as usual. Customer Service contacted me and offered a full refund or a free replacement. I elected the free replacement and received it immediately After installation the chipmunks have "left the building". I suppose the original set of Mole Repellents were not working properly. I cannot say enough good about this organization, they may be small but others could copy their customer relations and service. I'd recommend them to one and all.

He set seven traps where tunnels intersected and the battle was over by the next morning. My first day without a new mole mound. I have two neighbors that tried as much or more than I had and both only had success with the "Gopher Hawk". I considered getting three but I went with exterminator guarantee for about twice the price and be done with it. Moles are unbelievably persistent.

I bought these a few years ago and was waiting to see how these worked and then forgot to leave a review! These seem to have been working and are still working even a few years later. I don't have anymore mole activities. You can hear these in your yard if you are within a few feet and there's no other noises, otherwise they are pretty quiet. You don't really notice them. One of mine broke during installation, the tops of them are very fragile so I recommend softening the ground with a water hose or waiting until after a nice rainfall. Otherwise all around I think these are a good investment to protect your yard from further mole damage.
