Review: One of the best hearing protection options available. - Product was delivered promptly and met all my expectations. It is my 3 purchase, because I lose them, no quality issues. They seem expensive but performs well. I use them primarily for twice a week shotgun shooting and occasionally for protection from loud engines, weed eaters, chain saws, off road vehicles, machine shop noises etc.
Review: Don't Listen to the Bad Reviews - I debated getting these for a long time. I hesitated for quite awhile because of all the negative reviews on this and other colors of this product. However, I finally bought them despite my best judgment. I was so surprised at how it was so easy for me to mold to my ear! They also work well! These stay in my ear so much better than the cone and the foam ones. There are a few times to keep in mind though: 1. The 31 rating is for the foam tips only. Not the silicone. 2. These are not to take away all sound, just muffle sounds. 3. Use the smallest silicone tips. This allows the mold it get as close to the ear as possible. 4. To mold properly, only boil the water until JUST BOILING. Don’t let the water boil long as I find this makes the water too hot. 5. DON’T use metal spoon. I used a silicone strainer spoon and it didn’t stick at all. 6. As soon as you can touch the earplug, put it in your ear. For me, it was after 10 seconds. I found this made it easier to mold. 7. I turned my head so the mold was facing up and molded it with strokes and pushing the back plug often. I didn’t push the mold directly, only with the strokes. This made the mold smooth. 8. I left it in my ear until it cooled. 9. After they cooled, I redid the process again. This allowed me to get the mold to fit my ear the best. I have very sensitive ears and I find these comfortable. They don’t fall out, which I love since all other earplugs fall out of my small ears. Don’t mind the other reviews, these are great to have if you need good, quality earplugs. *If you need ear protection for very loud situations, like shooting guns, I would recommend the other-the-ear muffs. These work well at muffling sounds, but don’t chance your ears.

**Q: Can you have normal conversation with these in your ears**
A: I use the radians 2 part silicone plugs for light noise suppression like farm equipment or hammering on an anvil, but they still allow me to hear conversations, etc. Also great for keeping welding sparks out of your ear. 
 However, they are no good for shooting so I look forward to trying this brand. Noisy bar bands are the enemy of my tinnitus so I keep silocone earplugs in my pocket but can still talk to people.

**Q: How are these for musicians? Do they make sound muffled/cloudy or merely less loud?**
A: So far, SO GOOD!This is the sole purpose for my getting these.  I am a musician and I go out to see many shows, so ear protection is a must.  For high frequencies; guitars cymbals, harmonica, horns, they are great.  They allow you to still hear clearly, just more quietly.  I am a bass guitarist, and I must say, my sound is a little muffled.  However, I don't think that can be helped.  Lower frequencies are more difficult to hear.  That is why a good guitar amp is 100 watts and my bass amp is 1000 watts.All in all, I am very happy with these ear pieces and will buy more and use them the rest of my career and life!

**Q: when they are in do they decrease the sound of people talking(with out music on)?**
A: Yes, they do. These don't have sound filters and they will reduce talking loudness. I use mine to muffle loud machines. I can only hear people if they are standing in front of me talking loud.

**Q: What do I do if they get melted together in the boiling water?**
A: Buy new ones. I'd suggest to boil separately. Depending on how much they melted together they may be salvageable.
