In DIY co2 system building similar pressure is not possible. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Using it with my DIY citric acid and baking soda CO2 system and works fine *by L***N on Reviewed in India on 5 February 2023* It needs a good amount of pressure to release CO2 although with a good DIY system it is doable. The ceramic ring has very fine pores and creates tiny bubbles that stay in the water column even with low flow and consequently it clogs up easily with the slime, malm, algae, and other debris and might cause overpressure in the DIY setup. I have popped a few connections due to this. But after cleaning it in bleach it worked just fine. The only thing that I dislike about this diffuser is that this does not have an upward facing inlet connection / U neck. The airline tubing has to be installed in a weird way, where either too much of it will be visible in the tank if you place it in a gentle U shape or the sharp bend will stop co2 flow to the diffuser. I just got a glass U-bend connecter and attached it to create the upward facing neck.For anyone facing issues with DIY setup with this diffuser, check for leaks in all the connections.
