A: They are made from white porcelain not bone china.

A: The dinner plates are 10.5" and the salad plates are 8.25".

A: Hi Sona - you could try checking to see whether such options are sold or not at sale places like Amazon or others in the US which you might be considering. That's because most often they are sold in sets. I know separate plates are sold in places like Sri Lanka (where they are made). One option is to check with the company itself - as Noritake takes on the responsibility of selling you replacement pieces for any which might have broken. Thus, they are able to sell individual pieces. But then, they might not have the attractive retail offers which people like me are always looking for. All the best. They are great creations in crockery - hope you enjoy them.

I finally found it after a lot of research and a few failures! I added some money to the budget and here is the new set on the table. Crestwood platinium is a very elegant collection, suitable for any season and a formal table. With a simple touch you discover the flawless finish! At the 50 pieces contained in the package you find that you have almost a complete service, starting from bread and butter plates to coffee cups. You can add pieces that you are missing and you can buy them separately whenever you want, pieces that are not absolutely necessary but elegantly complete a formal dinner. They are preferential! After several attempts to buy something cheap, beautiful and qualitative, I gave up. There is no such thing as cheap and good! I sent back a few sets because I wasn't satisfied with the quality. If you don't have a minimum budget of $300, forget about quality. Noritake is NORITAKE!!!
