Sure enough, within a week of getting this and putting my Kindle in it, it was tossed off the bed from a baby in mid meltdown. A day or two after that it was knocked off the computer desk by a cup that got bumped and followed it to the ground, splashing water all over it. Through it all, my Kindle has survived unscathed! The stand is also super helpful when i pull up a recipe to use for dinner. Overall, probably one of my best buys for the past year.
