Review: Allowed me to continue using a pre-4K Yamaha Aventage with an HDR Monitor - Excellent build quality and exceptionally easy to setup and use. I am using the inputs for XBox Series S, PS4 Pro, desertcart Fire Stick 4K and a Media PC, the video output is going to a Dell S3220DGF and the audio HDMI is going to a Yamaha AV receiver, all works with no hassle. Used this to replace the unnecessarily complex HDFury Arcana, which was sent back.
Review: Excellent features, unreliable waking from standby - First, the good news. This is a solidly built unit with features that would normally cost a lot more money. And when it's working, it stays working. I've tested with HDR10, but my monitor doesn't support Dolby Vision so can't answer for that. I've knocked it down to four stars because it's temperamental when other equipment is coming out of standby. Once my PC has gone to sleep and wakes up, the monitor doesn't see the signal until I turn the FeinTech switch off and on again. But when I do that the PC sees the monitor as only 1080P instead of 4k, so I have to unplug the cable at the PC end. At that point everything agrees that I have a 4k monitor and the PC is running, and life is good. From the other end sometimes after standby my monitor decides the FeinTech switch doesn't support ARC, Solution, unsurprisingly, turn it off and on again. All of this means I can't hide the switch away, as I need regular access to the physical power switch. (Also, it came with a European power plug and needed an adapter for UK mains. I already had some of those, so not a problem for me).

**Q: Does the device mean i can get dolby atmos to my sonos arc if i use firestick in it? my tv has no hdmi earc.**
A: It didnt get get Dolby Atmos to my Sonos Beam (or any audio signal). So i doubt it

**Q: Sonos Arc lip sync resolved?**
A: No. This doesn’t help the lip sync.  The arcana fire fixed that.  I have a combination of both and it works a treat. Costly workaround and this manufacture is looking at releasing a switch the separates the audio.  Sonos arc must use a simulated eARC and only the arcana fire does this currently.

**Q: How does this compare with the more expensive hdfury arcana?**
A: Do not confuse the two devices. This product works as a switch box (and works very well)  but does NOT produce an eARC signal separately for use on something like a SONOS arc.   For that you need the Arcada devices. So if you’re having lip sync issues the arcada will be the right product. They are bringing a switch out that will do both jobs but can’t see that as available yet.

**Q: Will this output 7.1 from the tv the arc connection or would i lose the ability to connect my tv to my sound bar?**
A: The ARC is not 7.1

### ⭐ Audio drops every 10-15 seconds when DTS-HD is sent through

I am using this device for its intended purpose of splitting the hdmi audio and sending it to a receiver HDMI input. The receiver is older and does not support HDMI 2.0 (dolby vision, HDR, etc). The HDMI out of a 4k bluray player is connected to input 1, the main output is connected to a 77" LG OLED (C1) and the "audio" HDM is connected to the BD HDMI input on a pioneer SC-97 receiver. Using it in "Pass" mode for the audio format. When I play a movie with a DTS-HD track, the audio is sent to the receiver but the audio is dropped every 10-15 seconds making it unusable. Other formats (DD Plus, True HD, Atmos) work fine. The hdmi cables are 8k certified.
