Many reviews said the hair fell out but we’ve had ours for almost a year now and hair loss has been extremely minimal to the point it’s not even noticeable if it has lost any. You’d just about have to pull it out, it’s not just gonna fall out. Responsible play is ultimately what will come down to it lasting a while or not in my opinion. It gets played with a good bit but isn’t a daily use one for her. Update: almost a year later from the review post-very minimal hair loss. If any has been lost, it’s not even enough to make it noticeable.
