They cut easily with a sharp knife. You can use as a loofah sponge in the bathroom, and I've also cut slices off to use as soap rests for shampoo and conditioner bars - dries the soap really quickly so it lasts longer. Then I use the remainder as a washing up sponge. Nothing to stop this going in the washing machine or dishwasher either.
