It's a low profile mask, very little area for water before it ends up in your nose. **Q: Is this a pivot type of dry snorkel?** A: Yes, it is a pivot type dry top. **Q: What material is the lenses made of, Plastic or glass?** A: Glass I believe. I bought a second one of these masks because I liked the first one so much, they're great! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2014* Amazing Mask! If you are comparing other masks, look no further, because this is the one! We live in Hawaii and are surrounded with many snorkeling opportunities. For the longest time we were using our household's "community" masks. They were stretched, scratched, and mismatched. Finally I gave in and purchased my own mask (hands off). Once it arrived I couldn't wait to try it out. This mask offers wide view and a very comfortable fit. Without even putting the strap over my head and just placing the mask on my face I could feel an immediate seal. The snorkel is comfortable and the whistle is an added bonus, one i hope i'll never use. Upon using for the first time I was impressed by the clarity and it never ever leaked! I also defogged it with toothpaste (google it) and applied a little anti-fog and it never fogged during my hour long dive.My husband choose to purchase the "Phantom Scuba Diving Snorkeling Freedinving Mask Snorkel Set" which was $10 cheaper. He seems to like it but the mask's lens is smaller and the quality of materials does not compare. Bottom line, go with the Promate! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Mask For the Price, Highly Recommended (must use simple toothpaste process to stop the fog) *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2014* Im an avid freediver. I have had many masks and this is one of the best. It fits well and is very comfortable. The price for this mask is amazing. Im a fan of the older type of snorkels but this snorkel is probably preferred by other people. The snorkel has a valve so you can blow water out the bottom and has a floater piece that keeps water out even when the snorkel is submerged under water. The only negative point about this mask is that it does fog up. HOWEVER, as another reviewer mentioned, after a single scrub with toothpaste (google the process), the scratch resistant cover came off and they have never fogged again. I cant even get them to fog now when I breath directly on them.I would highly recommend this mask and snorkel, especially after using the toothpaste. You can't beat this quality for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Quality *by M***3 on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2022* Received my ProMate snorkel items today from GetWetStore. After opening the box it is immediately apparent that the quality is top notch. Can't wait to try them out in the Caribbean! btw, better pricing through Amazon than GetWetStore's website. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1829038-promate500890-allbalck-scuba-dive-dry-snorkel-mask-snorkeling-set](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1829038-promate500890-allbalck-scuba-dive-dry-snorkel-mask-snorkeling-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
