Review: Perfect blue pen l -- smooth, reliable, comfortable - I realized we needed some blue ink pens in the house for signing docs, etc., and I cannot tell you the ridiculous amount of time I spent researching pens. But it led me to these and they are perfect for our purposes: a) not expensive, b) reliable (never need to shake the pen or scratch it back-and-forth to get it going, for example), c) beautifully smooth writing, d) not too thin a point and not too fat (I tend to love a big old fat nib [think super big Sharpie] but given the smaller spaces for signatures on legal docs knew a smaller nib would be better), e) does not smudge, f) comfortable to hold [from decades of calligraphing my writing hand fatigues and hurts very easily, and very quickly]. Earlier today I asked my husband to sign my sister-in-law's birthday card and he reached for one of these, even though in the same cup was his favorite purple Flair the Uniball was what he chose. 'Nuff said.
