My problem is that I can either a) leave the cell phone on 24/7; it won't have to spend time booting, and the camera will be visible in seconds, but the phone will run down if I don't drive the car daily; or b) I can turn the phone off when I leave the car, and it will take over a minute before I have the rear view.Perhaps the solution is to find a wire that's always live, even when the car is off, and tap into that. I imagine that it would take months for a cell phone to drain a car battery.I might have better luck using the cell phone that I talk on; I was just hoping to find uses for my older cell phones - obsolete but not broken. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Backup wonderful *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2021* I finally downloaded the app and use it to hook up to my camper. When it did work, briefly, it would a present frozen image that was a mirrored. The software was unresponsive and useless. It was returned for a refund.
