It worked great. Her hair was perfect in minutes. Unfortunately, after 2 more uses the brush went into failure mode (red and green light blinking).Although I purchased this a couple years ago, it is disappointing that it only handled 5 uses and it was dead (I’ve had my hair dryer and straightener for about 10 years and they still work).Save your money and stay away from this brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Curly girl tested and approved *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2018* I was stunned by how well the Dafni brush worked. I have naturally curly hair that is thick and frizzes easily. I rarely straighten my hair because it can take well over an hour, and I avoid damaging my curls if I can. I can count the number of times I’ve had a blowout on one hand, but the Dafni brush helped me achieve the same results in about the same time (20-30 minutes).The brush heats quickly and is intuitive to use. So long as you really keep some tension on the hair, you can go under and over the hair shaft to get good results. I highly recommend sectioning hair to get better results. Some have written that this brush can’t achieve pin-straight hair. However, with a little extra time and patience put into sectioning, brushing and re-straightening sections, I felt my results were fairly similar to a flat iron’s or blowout’s results. That said, reaching the scalp was difficult and some pieces of hair still had some wave to them at the top.Overall, here are my pros and cons for this brush:PROS:-Heats to a safe, comfortable temperature (still mind your hand placement as I slightly burned my finger on first use)-Intuitive to use-Straightens hair easily and quickly-Not heavy, and easy to holdCONS:-Detachable cord is quite difficult to remove. Detaching mine actually resulted in a small piece of plastic coming off inside the brush and on a shiny plastic piece between the brush and cord.-Without removing the cord, the brush doesn’t fit in the case-The case is a little bulkier than expected. I hoped it was more rectangular than rounded for easier packing.-While the automatic shut-off is a nice safety feature, I needed maximum heat throughout the entire straightening process to get the best resultsFINAL THOUGHTS:If you’re looking for a faster way to style your hair, this brush is a great option.
