It does what it is intended for. Some people don't read. It can be used to measure up to 2,000 Volts DC and 2,000 Volts P-P AC not RMS. If your confused by the numbers or letters used above don't buy it nor use one. 2,000 Volts will kill you and hurt while it is burning thru you. RMS voltage times 2.8284 will give you Peak to Peak Voltage. 2,000VAC (RMS) is equal to 5,656.8 Volts Peak to Peak. So the limit for AC is 707.11 Volts RMS on this probe. And people hands off when measuring 2KV.
