Then I started to use this towel/blanket to dry her off after being out in the rain. Now when she comes in all wet, I praise her for stopping near the door as I casually throw it over her entire body to cover her up. I grab clumps of her fur and massage her body all over with it. Head covered, she can't tell where I'm coming in next when I go after a foot to dry! The massage all over feels so good, she'll stand whatever's necessary to have it done! We end up playing more with this towel, so it's a very positive experience for us both.It's become like a special blankie for anytime, she loves to be swaddled up in it to play!It cleans easily in a warm water wash. I put it in a nylon mesh bag to collect as much of her hair from it to keep it off other items in the wash. Dries beautifully, looks brand new. Bought a second one for on top of my bed, as she likes to "cuddle in the middle", between my legs. (I recently turned my bed around, she no longer has a wall at her back. Lying between my two legs makes her feel safe.)The towel isn't as water absorbent as I'd like, but it's no worse than using a car shamee to dry a dog (doesn't work).
