I can move the buckles on the straps, but nothing holds them in place, so they move freely.Aside from that, my cat and I like the harness. He's a large cat but I was able to put it on with room for my fingers to fit underneath.Having the harness secure on their back with a strap from each side feels safe because if anything were to wear down or tear I would likely have one of the straps still secure. The product seems strong but when the consequence is losing an irreplacable animal you want to be prepared. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Houdini *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2022* We went out many times to "walk" which to my cat meant we stop and he sat watching birds and squirrels. This harness worked fine but once when he lunged forward to chase a squirrel my hand slipped through the hand hold and he was off. Fortunately, he returned a few hours later leash trailing behind him. On another venture out I tied the hand loop smaller to avoid the slipping incident again, we were actually walking on the driveway when something startled him, he jumped about 3 foot off the ground, twisted around to face me frantically, bent his front legs up, and he was out of the harness. In a few hours he came home.
