The only issue is that they are marked a size smaller than fit. My son is a solid size 13 but when I originally ordered a size 1 for the summer in a couple of months. They were way too small so I returned the original Nova ones and ordered these in a size 2 which fits perfectly. I wish they would adjust the sizing so that you can order the correct size the first time... But with free shipping and free returns... at least the exchange was easy. I will say they appear to be very sturdy quality. The rubber toe is thick and a little flexible and the inside of the seams are smooth. There are no stitches or tags that could cause irritation to the wearer. The style of the shoe is also really cute! I refuse to put my 5 year old in open toe shoes. He's far to active these shoes look as though they will adequately flex and protect his feet while being easy to clean and breathable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome price and quality! *by C***0 on Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2017* I was a little leery when I saw these sandals for the awesome price but I was really surprised! These are really great quality shoes, I would compare them to Carter's ones my other son has.The back velcro is adjustable which is great because I always buy a size up so they last longer and I could just tighten the back and they fit my son perfect.I bought the gray and lime green shoes and I do have to say that the gray is actually a lot lighter in person than in the picture, which wasn't a huge deal but I would prefer if they were the darker gray.I will be buying these again when my kids need a bigger size! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality at this price point & fits TTS *by G***5 on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2018* At this price point I’m very happy with the quality and style of these sandals for my 3.5 year old son. He’s in size 9-10 in everyday shoes now so I ordered these sandals in 9 to account for the no sock effect. They give him a bit of room to grow. I prefer sandals to fit smaller vs bigger so they’re more of a secure fit when kids are running and such. The Velcro closure across the top will get a lot of use with daily on/off and that’s the one part of these that is somewhat questionable quality. Again, at this price I’m fine with it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/183234423-nova-utopia-toddler-little-boys-girls-summer-sandal-sneakers](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/183234423-nova-utopia-toddler-little-boys-girls-summer-sandal-sneakers) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
