I chose to solder the wires for a solid fit. The sound through the Bose speakers is phenomenal. It even picks up more AM and FM stations than the original radio. The Bluetooth function is superb so I can play all the tunes on my phone. The CD functions flawlessly and the sound is tremendous. Having the various equalizer settings is a big plus. I think there are 8 different settings with two being custom settings. Even the phone calls come through loud and clear using the provided microphone. The screen even shows your call with the person's name and phone number. I was sitting in the passenger seat and my wife could hear me loud and clear even with the mic attached just above the steering wheel. Highly recommend this radio. The screen worked good enough with the back up cam, until the cam or the unit failed. Not sure which. Sold that truck.
