I would have liked to put it in a vise, but the handle is too long. Also, if you screw it to a bench, you have to mount it with the handle facing you instead of behind the frame like other designs. This makes it a little awkward to feed the fretwire. I have read reviews that say the handle is not attached strongly enough to put a lot of torque on it. I didn't have that issue, probably because I bend the wire little by little as I was taught.
