A large part of gameplay for The Crew revolves around players attempting to communicate and work together to accomplish tasks, without actually having the ability to speak to each other. This communication aspect does not translate well into a single-player experience. Though there is an enjoyable two-player variant included in the rules, the game is designed with 3-5 players in mind.
