It's considerably smaller and cheaper but the instructions are a bit sparse. However, as I was familiar with the Technomate, it was pretty easy to set up. It's not obvious from the listing but it does support Diseqc and I have programmes from 3 LNBs on the dish (Hotbird 13, Astra 19 and Astra 28). It's early days so I can't tell how reliable it will be but so far I am impressed. Review: Freeview Box, Great little addition, plenty extras - Nice & easy to setup. Staying in Wokingham area so only needed the 60 cm dish, 80% signal. No skipping, freezing except when first switch on & looking for channels. I like the idea of the extended IR, means you can hide the box & cables. IR signal is very good. For the price, functionality, picture, features, what more could you ask for. One down side is the info on the channel. It does not contain anything inside the box for recording purposes. The stations do contain HD where transmitted. I have not tried recording via the usb socket. **Q: Description states 12 volts (assume it has a transformer to connect to the mains) - will it function directly form a 12 volt battery in a motorhome** A: Yes you can. it uses an external AC-DC adapter which you will not need in this case. **Q: Ran a scan on this box and still can only clear a few channels. non of the bbc ones or ch4,ch5 e.t.c.. any suggestion to find them?** A: Hi. I had no problem at all with the setup of this. It could be a faulty box, depending on how long you've had it either get hold of the customer Service on the box or send it back as faulty. **Q: Does this box work with a diseqc 2.0 LNB?** A: Yes it will quite happily switch between LNBs using diseqc 2.0.
