The leather looked good until you looked close, and then the leather looked almost scaly, like dry skin. I easily rubbed a good amount of this product into the leather, and WOW, leather was supple, no more scales, no more squeaking when I sit in the chairs, no odor, no greasy appearance, nor greasy to the touch, and it didn't darken the leather (which I would have liked). In short, my leather chairs look like new, except for the color has faded over the years. I do not have anything negative to say about this product.
