Review: Better Than Gloves - I've had these grips for a while now, so I feel I can write an objective review. I'm not a fan of weightlifting gloves, the cheap ones fall apart or rip at the seams, and the expensive ones cost the same as raising a child, and they all make for sweaty hands which makes them feel slippery. Having said that, I also had started to tear up my hands fairly seriously whilst weightlifting, especially deadlift. These grips are absolutely what I was looking for. Comprising a sturdy wrist strap that holds securely and an extremely tough palm grip that secures with elasticated loops over the back of your fingers, it provides plenty of protection for any kind of lifting with total freedom of movement for your thumb, and no sweatiness. Another benefit I've seen is that I have more confidence in my lifting, as these grip really securely to my bars. As I said, I've been using them for a while, for all types of lifting and seen no visible wear or damage to these grips. For anyone that's tried and rejected gloves, or needs a bit more grip and less hand damage, I would strongly recommend these. I'd also like to mention that the company reached out to me after I bought them, not asking for reviews but just asking how I was getting along with them. It's a nice thing, and makes customers feel valued. All in all, a good company making a fantastic product.
