Channel ABC and CBS have the weakest reception. Other than that, I still feel it was a good purchase. Kevin B. Aurora, CO. ### ⭐ You'll do better with a coathanger *by A***P on September 12, 2015* Never returned an item faster.......I live in an area where we are about 20-30 miles from broadcast TV antennae. I have an antenna bought at Best Buy 3-4 years ago for $40 that works pretty well but gets choppy in bad weather and doesn't always get Fox. I was looking at this Onh model as an "upgrade". Does not work at all, reception is actually better with no antenna. Believe me, I tried everything and I always assume user error as a possibility.Item is a rectangle of floppy plastic with a "sticker" for sticking to wall or window. Instructions were laughable, broken English and sentence fragments (probably derived from Google translator or something). ### ⭐⭐ super impractical; or good for short people and floor TV's *by D***N on October 17, 2015* This is the 3rd digital antenna I've tested (Winegard FL-55YR FlatWave- works amazingly well for me; and the amplified HDTV 1byone- was just ok) and in my home for whatever reason; the onh hdtv amplified indoor antenna performed the worst of the three.I live in silicon valley- 30 miles from San Francisco and 20 miles from San Jose in an area without any hills. This was the first antenna where I needed to use the amplifier to get the standard broadcasting stations- CBS, ABC, FOX etc. and even with the amplifier, the signal was weaker than the other two without the amp. Antennas can vary to large degrees depending on many different variables; so this isn't necessarily indicative of how it would perform for you, or even the guy down the street from me. So grading it based on that seems a bit unfair; as this is just my experience.That said, the following isn't isolated to my experience only- the cord attached to the amplifier is just over 3 feet long (38 inches). Meaning, if your TV is more than 3 feet off the ground; you're going to need an extension cord to plug this into a wall outlet.
