It fits very snugly on the 45/1.8, looks good (for whatever that matters), and does its job. It fits over the lens in reverse for storage together in the bag.But as untold Olympus owners have said in the past, there are two problems with the hood:1. It should have come with the lens, and2. If it didn't come with the lens, it should have cost no more than $8-$10. The retail price of this hood, which is only a single piece of plastic weighing a few grams, is truly offensive.I'm not going to be petty and rate this at one or two stars, because a customer considering this can make their own conclusions based on the price. I merely knocked off one star for poor "value for money."But seriously, this hurts Olympus I think.
