It has a very useful zoom range, it's sharp, and is a pleasure to shoot with. The constant F2.8 is nice and I've shot with this hand held in fairly low light without issue. It feels well built but because of this, it adds some noticeable weight to the camera. It's not heavy but it's not a 25mm prime either.
