And it did not block the ports to keep water out. So needless to say I returned that garbage and went back to this phone case because it is wonderful!!! The rubbery texture helps me hold onto phone, and the fact that the case is raised past the screen really does protect it from falls!! I still do not use a screen protector and have had zero problems. And this case covers the port to keep water out. The outer shell also comes in handy. However, about two months ago, I had an unfortunate incident where the frame snapped while I was storing the case (Note: I didn't have it on my phone at the time, as it was on my bike phone mount). I must admit that OtterBox indeed manufactures durable cases that generally live up to their positive reviews. On the downside, I found the case to be quite bulky, which was a minor inconvenience in certain situations. Moreover, after a year of use, the back surface began peeling quite a bit. Additionally, my power and volume buttons showed significant wear and tear over the past two years of use. One improvement I'd love to see is a slimmer version of the OtterBox Case for the S20 Ultra that would allow me to use my e-bike's phone mount without having to remove the case each time I go bike riding. Overall, while the case provided reliable protection, the bulkiness and wear on certain parts are worth considering.
