Needed to mount a multi-port powered USB hub below my desk (these are much smaller than standard 19-inch rack mount), so my choice was the $79 "BrovSS - 10 Port Powered USB 3.0 Hub Aluminum - USB Hub Charger - Multiple Port Splitter Hub with 12V 5A 60W Power Adapter". It is one of the few small, low-cost hubs made with bracket-mount ability, and the package included the optional mounting hardware and screws. Am pleased with the BrovSS hub, their design is quite sturdy and well-made, the brackets and screws fit precisely and were well-designed. The manufacturer, BrovSS, has a website in English and will answer email questions - or at least they did mine. Have had it six months and it is in 24/7 use without failure. On one occasion, the four or five USB sticks I keep mounted in it seemed to have disappeared from the system and there were no LEDs lit. Powered the system down, carefully reseated the power cable and the USB data cable at the BrovSS hub (unplugged and then plugged back in), and after bringing the system back up, everything worked normally as before. I do not know if that fixed a problem, just a simple reboot might have done the same, but the important thing is the BrovSS hub did not fail and to date has not failed. Note that USB sticks can sometimes be tricky to seat properly, so if one seems to not work, try plugging it in again, or try a different one. To prevent power glitches, I have my BrovSS hub plugged into the same UPS that powers my desktop. Testing my other USB ports without the unit were successful but when this is introduced into the mix the drives will randomly unmount and I"m prompted that the drives are read only.
