Review: Excellent Replacement Battery for Bose SoundLink Mini - I have had my Bose SoundLinkMini for over 10 years. The sound is outstanding. It started not holding power, unexpectedly turned off when it was charged &/or was on the charger, intermittently would not charge when on the charger, etc. Researching it could be the base charger or the battery. I thought of replacing the whole unit but comments stated the newer models did not have the same great sound. I am so happy I got this battery. It is easy to install. I charged it for a day before using it and all the problems I was having with the unit are gone. I have the great sound back. I have had it off the charger for over a week and it is still playing. **Q: Has anyone used this battery when their original was a 063404? I have tried several  061384 that do not work as advertised. Thanks**
A: I used this as a replacement battery for my Bose mini link and it worked well. Wished it had replacement screws in case the originals were lost or damaged, which in my case lost...but the battery worked regardless.

**Q: Screw driver included?**
A: As I recall, a tiny Phillips (four pointed star type) came with it.  It was well over a year ago I bought this battery to go into a Bose mini Sound Link.  Pretty sure a tiny screw driver came with the battery.

**Q: Is this something that could or would be hooked up in hiding in ones home? as to voip in a home or an alexa?**
A: This is a battery for a Bluetooth speaker. The battery is not a security risk. Are you kidding? The Bose speaker can be connected to an Alexa device for playing music. That means it becomes an extension of the connected Alexa.
The battery is a battery. That’s all.

**Q: I purchased this item. i now have a solid yellow light. What's that about?**
A: If you still have a solid yellow light after 10-12 hours of charge you have problem

I have had my Bose SoundLinkMini for over 10 years. The sound is outstanding. It started not holding power, unexpectedly turned off when it was charged &/or was on the charger, intermittently would not charge when on the charger, etc. Researching it could be the base charger or the battery. I thought of replacing the whole unit but comments stated the newer models did not have the same great sound. I am so happy I got this battery. It is easy to install. I charged it for a day before using it and all the problems I was having with the unit are gone. I have the great sound back. I have had it off the charger for over a week and it is still playing. I highly recommend this particular battery.

### ⭐ This replacement battery does not hold charge....do not buy. Wasted money

Sadly this battery will not hold charge. I can unplug from the charger when the fully charged led is green and can use it right away. At this point I can use at low volume for an hour at most. If I unplug Once charged and leave OFF for a day or more it will not turn on, I need to charge again. While charging, it may become green when fully charged but if i do not unplug the carger it will start blinking orange again, as if not fully charged. Another thing I noticed is that now the "ON" led does not work, nor the AUX white led or the Bluetooth indicator. All those lights were operational with the original battery. This is not right, I expected a fully funtional speaker. It does not hold charge and so it forces me to move it around with the charging adapter which basically defeats the purpose of charging it to take it with me. Installation is easy enough as it is a copy of the original battery and it includes the tool to remove the screews but what is the use if it does not function right? very sad with the result.
