Review: Three year lifespan. Poor support. - The device is great but the support is poor to marginal. Mine only needed to be charged once a year and the 18650 cell is in great shape. Unfortunately it stopped connecting to Mac or PC or delivering the PDF exports at approximately 3 years old. Support confirmed it sounded like a hardware failure and there was no hard reset available for the device. So even if it's a firmware issue or could be cleared with a hard reset it's not possible. They just stopped responding to my ticket and didn't even try to sell me a replacement. I have some other devices from this brand and there are quite good quality typically. This was my first support experience and my first product failure and it was disappointing.

A: 78.7-inch-long

**Q: Is there an external probe similar to GS-6 model available for purchase?**
A: Sorry, currently there's no Glycol Bottle Sensor for GSP-8. We are working on it and it may be available on April.

**Q: Can the rechargeable battery be replaced, in case it goes bad?**
A: I guess you can replace it. It’s a special size Li battery but I suppose you can buy one someplace. I’ve had 10 of the GSP8 that I use for work for more than 2 years and never had to replace the batteries. They automatically recharge when you plug them into a USB port. I can’t say that I’ve even seen them low on charge and they are in constant use 24/7.

**Q: does the GSP-8 include an external probe as standard?**
A: Yes, it comes with a probe.
