In my opinion their concentrate lacks the depth of flavor of their loose leaf, and it is much too sweet for my taste. I’ve come up with my own recipe using their tea and it’s pretty delicious so I’ll share that below. I have a 1 liter Bonavita kettle so I use that to boil the water to 212F. I add 60 grams loose leaf RISHI chai to a 1/2 gallon jar, and 175 grams honey and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract to another. Then I pour the first liter of boiling water into the jar with the tea and let it steep for 5 minutes. While that’s steeping I get another liter of water boiling. Then I strain the tea that’s been steeping into the jar with the honey and vanilla. And then I pour the second liter of boiling water into the tea leaves and let that steep for 5 minutes. Strain that into the other jar, stir well, leave out until it gets to room temperature and then refrigerate. Delicious iced chais anytime you want! I usually do 2/3 concentrate to 1/3 whole milk and sometimes a dash of cinnamon.
