It is a beautiful, functional piece of furniture. I recently moved into an apartment where a good space for a crate AND necessary furniture was hard to find. This crate is perfect. My dog likes being close to my chair and she likes being able to see what is going on in around her. I am very happy that I spent a little more for the quality workmanship. It is well made, solid construction, and arrived in perfect condition. The wood is absolutely gorgeous. It was easy to put together, once my husband showed me how to do it.
