Anyways, I think per 1/4 teaspoon that it is around 490 mg which could be used for say 88 fl. ounces and yet as a preservative it still depends upon ingredients. I think for 88 fl. ounces is cool because takes 1/2 teaspoon of Potassium Sorbate. You must follow guidelines on emulsifiers, stabilizers, defumer's, and salination I do believe and that can sometimes take in order to validate 2 or more years for products. I think that 2 parts (p.s.):1 parts (s.b.) on those is pretty cool for some solutions on the per 44 fl. ounces of it. I think that when many of the products were done that companies created say 740 variations and bottled them and set them aside to see in several years which passed validation for preservatives with the best taste. Regardless of the chemistry classes I think that validation should still be performed for products to hit the market.
