Review: Wonderful except the frets stick out and scratch. - I love this concert ukulele. This sound is richer than the soprano. It is fun to hear, where as, to me the soprano is ... well higher pitched, and a little irritating. After practicing on it for a few weeks my fingertips hurt so bad, so I got some fingertip covers. My fingertips still feel the workout, but not pain - its like cheating. I love it. I now can practice for 1/2 an hour and enjoy my encounter with this fun instrument. If the frets are planned to stick out so far, that I can easily find the different fret spaces without looking, maybe just a little rounding on the ends would help convince me that my KALA is a great. I love the slender neck as I have small hands. After a few months my strings hold their tune. Over all I am really happy with this purchase. Just round the frets a little, for a pinch more quality.
