They are much stronger than the McCormick or Ziplock containers in the grocery stores, but lighter weight than some of the more expensive storage containers. It's a good mix. They're actually cheaper than the really flimsy ones in the dollar stores. They give a very tight seal. I really prefer the square/rectangular shapes over round ones for stacking and storing in the fridge. I also use them for storing non-food items (audio connectors, small parts, etc).

I use these containers everyday. The lids fit snuggly on top of the container. They have a nice appearance, they're easy to clean and they don't leak! Because they fit so well together organization is easy. They don't take up a lot of shelf space. These were priced so reasonably that I bought two so I always have enough containers. It's a great buy! I love them! Two thumbs up and five stars. Rubbermaid always made great products and always will.
