I use it mainly for commuting/biking to work during the week and light hiking on the weekend. The material is water resistant that keep my stuff dry in case it rains.Unlike other sling bag I’ve tried before, this bag has just the right strap length and width, very well designed! The back of the pack has mesh padding which is breathable and helps make the bag more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The shoulder strap is easily adjustable and can be switched to the either side using the D rings located at the bottom of either corner. It feels comfortable whether worn on the front, back, or cross body.The pocket on the shoulder strap is easily accessible and fits large phones. I was really surprised that it fit my iphone 6 with a dual layer case and still with room to spare. I plan to purchase couple more for Christmas gifts ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multiple Compartments Equals Efficient Use Of Space *by B***O on Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2017* I have traveled to over 40 countries and I often am gone for 2-5 months. The smartest travelers go light, especially if they are traveling to multiple countries. Consequently, I rarely travel with luggage. Instead, I rely on a 38 liter JanSport Odyssey backpack and a day pack or sling bag. I was looking for a better sling bag than the Swiss Gear one I currently have. Not to knock it, because it is sturdily built. However, the problem is the size and number of compartments. Due to these issues, I decided to purchase the NeatPack Sling Bag. The NeatPack is larger by approximately 2 inchs in height and 3 inches in width. I do not know the liter differences, but I can easily say that the NeatPack holds significantly more stuff than the Swiss Gear sling bag. Regarding pockets, again, the NeatPack rules, i.e., the Swiss Gear only has 1 main compartment, with 3 tiny zippered "pockets" that can only be used for very small items, e.g., change, keys, smart phone, etc. It also, has a small zippered pocket on the strap, but it is too small to hold a smart phone a la the NeatPack pocket on the strap. Additionally, it has a drink holder, which is practically useless . . . unlike the one on the NeatPack, which actually looks like it will hold a water bottle.Conversely, the NeatPack has the following: 1. One large compartment and two smaller, albeit, generous compartments (all of which come with sleeves/other zippered interior pockets; 2. The RFID "hidden pocket" on the back of the pack to store valuables and prevent identity thieves; and, 3. the already alluded to smart phone pocket on the strap. In short, this is a killer sling bag, much like my Jansport Odyssey back pack - with maximum use of pockets and compartments.In conclusion, I am impressed with the bag. The NeatPack has efficiently utilized the space within the confines of a sling bag. Many manufacturers fail to do that. However, the proof is in the pudding. Specifically, I have not taken it on a trip yet. That will be remedied in a couple of days, when I am on the road for the next 2 months through April 6th, as I am traveling to the big island of Hawaii and then I will visit Vietnam.
