John Stonestreet is an expert in culture and Biblical Worldview. He winsomely describes and defends why a Biblical worldview is the absolute best description of reality while addressing many challenging topics. As an educator, this book is a one-stop shop for anyone looking to deeply grow their understanding of the world in a way that will help them navigate the competing ideas that are so prevalent in our day.

This is a very good overview of a Christian worldview. I'm using it in my Colson Fellowship classes this year, and it is thorough. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I don't think it is overly academic at all.My only issue with the Kindle edition is the facsimile presentation. I would much prefer to have had a standard Kindle flowing text. Trying to read full page on a phone is really tough.

Very interesting, but kind of a hard read. I am enjoying reading about different worldviews and putting a perspective to my own.

I purchased this book for a class my daughter was taking. She was not overly excited about reading it at first. However, after finishing it, she said it is one of the best books she has ever read. This is a topic she has studied before in other contexts. But she has always struggled to thoroughly understand the topic in the past. She said that the information in this book was clearly organized and presented. She said she finally has a good, clear understanding of this topic. I'm now looking forward to reading it as well.

I liked this book - it logically went through various worldviews that people hold. Everyone has a worldview - whether they actually articulate it or not. It helps to think about WHY we believe the way we do -- and therefore ACT the way we do.The book has a lot in it. I've read it through once - but need to keep reviewing it. I found it insightful.

Fun and interesting to read, gives a broad overview of different worldviews. You don't have to be a high-brow to understand what the author is saying, but at the same time it isn't dumbed down either. Christians will benefit from a greater understanding of philosophies and religions that are over against their own.

This is a very comprehensive, thought-provoking and detailed description of basic worldviews that is extremely helpful. It is an especially important book at this point in our history. I believe every thinking person would benefit by this and certainly be challenged by those things that it deals with .

Needed this book for college and it is wonderful. Glad I took the class, or I would have never found this book. A fascinating read, and full of much-needed information about the many different worldviews, including the biblical worldview.
